Community Safety Seminar

Community Safety Seminar

10-Feb-2010

We would like to invite you to our next Community Safety Seminar on Wednesday 10th February 2010, which will take place at our offices in Nottingham at 9.30am. Aimed at those public sector organisations involved in community safety activity, the event now replaces our previous Crime and Fire Clubs, and will provide you with the opportunity to network, share best practice and knowledge, and facilitate a greater understanding between police, fire and road safety practitioners. With budget cuts, emphasis on more targeted and tailored communications, and focus on efficiency and operational savings, working together has never been more important.

Richard Scott, Strategic Intelligence Manager at Devon Strategic Partnership will be our host for the day, and a number of guest speakers from fire and rescue services, police authorities and safer roads partnerships will also be joining us, and will be covering topics including:

  • Targeted drink driving campaigns
  • Reducing anti-social behaviour
  • Improving road safety through social marketing
  • Targeting activity to reduce fire risk
  • Increasing satisfaction in public services

The day will start at 9.30am with coffee and registration. The main session will start promptly at 10am, and will close at approximately 4pm with lunch at 12.30pm, when you will have ample opportunity to network.
